This Privacy Policy explains how Enveil ("the Bot", "we", "us") collects, uses, and handles your information when you use our Discord bot. By adding Enveil to your server or interacting with it, you agree to this policy.
Enveil may store the following data to provide its features:
Server Data: Guild IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, and server configuration settings (prefixes, logging channels, economy settings, voice room configs).
User Data: User IDs, economy balances, work cooldowns, shop purchases, AFK statuses, and warn/mute/ban records tied to moderation actions.
Message Data: Enveil may temporarily cache recent deleted or edited messages for the snipe and edit-snipe features. These are stored in memory only and are not persisted to any database. They are lost on bot restart.
Voice Data: Enveil does not record, store, or transmit any voice audio. Voice room features only track channel ownership via user and channel IDs.
All collected data is used solely to operate Enveil's features. This includes moderation logging, economy tracking, music queue management, AFK detection, and server configuration. We do not sell, share, or provide your data to any third parties.
Persistent data is stored in a secured database. Access is restricted to the Enveil development team. We take reasonable measures to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.
Server configuration data is retained as long as Enveil remains in your server. When the bot is removed from a server, that server's data may be deleted automatically or upon request. User economy data and moderation records are retained until manually cleared by a server administrator or upon request.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by joining our support server and opening a ticket. Server owners can request full deletion of all data associated with their guild. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.
Enveil does not knowingly collect data from users under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data through the bot, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the bot after changes constitutes acceptance. Major changes will be announced in our support server.
